About Me

Welcome to Kandy's Kritters! My name is Kandace and I would be thrilled to be your pet sitter. I am a resident of Palm Bay, FL. I am college educated and pursuing a career in Veterinary Technology. My long term objective is to be an Animal Care Specialist in the U.S Military.

 

I am dedicated to the care and management of animals. By age 17, I was a certified Veterinary Assistant. I volunteered to work on a small educational farm and 6 months later I was invited to become a regular employee. I worked there for 3+ years before moving to FL. In that time, I learned the basic care and management of animals ranging from rabbits to peacocks, goats to cows, and became an integral part of the team. I was placed in charge of training a rescued llama named Joshua.

 

We have 3 cats. The name of my cat is Willow and she is 6 years old. My mom's cat and my sister's cat are siblings and their names are Gandalf and Boscae, respectively. They are 1 1/2 years old. We rescued their mom who was pregnant at the time with four kittens. We found homes for the other two kittens and their mom.
